Measuregeom Command in AutoCAD Software

Image
Hello, Friends Today We will learn about Measuregeom command in AutoCAD Software. Command : Measuregeom - Measure the distance, Radius, Angle, Area, Volume of Selected Object. Use can also use Distance Command, Area Command, Massprop Command to Find Distance, Area & Volume. It works same as Measuregeom Command. Distance(d) : Calculate Distance Between Two points. We can also calculate Cumulative Distance between various points.Read Our blog on Distance Command. Distance Command :  https://easywaycad.blogspot.com/2020/08/how-to-measure-distance-between-two_16.html ARea(ar) : Calculate area of selected objects or by specifying different corner points. Read Our Blog on Area Command. Area Command :    https://easywaycad.blogspot.com/2020/09/how-to-calculate-area-of-define-area-or.html Radius(r) : Show the Radius and Diameter of Selected Arc or Circle on Command line Window. Working in Grid & Snap in AutoCAD Software

Image
Hello, Friends Today We will learn about Grid & Snap in AutoCAD Software. Grid: The grid is a rectangular pattern of Dots or Lines. It Covers the entire XY Plane. It is very useful while aligning objects and visualizing distance between objects. Snap: Restricts the movement of the crosshairs to the intervals we define. While Working in Grid, Both Grid & Snap Mode should be ON. Use Ctrl+ G or F7 key or Mouseclick on Grid Icon on the Status bar to On/Off-Grid mode. Use Ctrl+B or F9 key or Mouseclick on Snap Icon on the Status bar to On/Off Snap mode. By default, the Grid Style is Lines. But we Can change the Grid style from Drafting Setting. Type DS Command > Snap and Grid > Grid Style > 2D Model Space. We can select 2D Model space, it converts into dots. Display grid beyond limits : If this option is selected, Grid is shown in the entire XY plane at UCS. But if we unchecked this option, Grid lines/dots are shown in specific limits set by Limits Command. By Default

How to calculate area of define area or Selected object in AutoCAD Software?

Image
Hello, Friends Today We will learn Area Command in AutoCAD Software. Command: Area  or Measuregeom Short-cut : AA Calculate Area & Perimeter of Selected object or define Area. We can find the area by Mouseclick different Corner points shown in the above fig.Result shown in the Command-line window. It shows both Area & perimeter. ( Green Color shows the calculated area). Object(O) : We can calculate the area by Selecting an Object. We can calculate the area of Circle, Ellipse, Closed Polyline Object. If we select open 2D Polyline / 2D Spline, then AutoCAD Calculate area of that Polyline/Spline by joining the First & Last points of Spline/ polyline. If Area is not Single Closed, then we can use Join / Boundary / Region Command to Create Single closed Compound Object. After that we can simply Calculate are by Selecting that object. Add Area(a): We can calculate the total cumulative area by specifying subsequent areas by either corner points or selecting objects. Subtract Are

Properties Command in AutoCAD Software

Hello, Friends Today We will learn about Properties Command in AutoCAD Software. Command: Properties Short-cut : PR /MO / CH/ Ctrl+1 - We can See & Change the Properties of Selected Object. Common AutoCAD 2D Properties are Color, Linetype, Lineweight, Linetype Scale, Layer, Transparency, Thickness. We can also see & change the Special properties of the selected objects.E.g.For line, Start(x,y,z) ,End(x,y,z), Delta(x,y,z), Length, Angle For Circle, Center(x,y,z), Radius, Diameter, Area, Circumference. Explode Command breaks a Compound Object into Components objects. We Can explode 2D Polyline,3D Polyline, Multiline, Multiline Text, Associative Array objects, Hatch Pattern, Block, Leader, Dimension. We Can't explode single entity objects like Line, Circle, Arc, Ellipse, Elliptical Arc, Spline, Xline, Point, Text. We can explode text by TXTEXP Command.   Hello, Friends Today We will learn about Boundary Command in AutoCAD Software. Command: Boundary Short-cut: Bo Menu: Draw > Boundary - By Boundary Command, We can create Region or Polyline Object from Closed Bounded ( Enclosed) Objects. Pick Points: By this Option, A boundary is determined from existing objects that form an enclosed area around a specific point. Island Detection: By this option, We can controls whether internal boundaries ( Island) are detected or not. If We Check this option, then All internal boundaries create regions or polylines objects. Object Type: Controls New Boundary create a Region object or Polyline object. Boundary Set: Selected objects are form a Boundary set while analysing boundary.         Current Viewport: Create a New Boundary set in Current Viewport.         New : We can selecte objects which define new Boundary Set.Boundary includes only thosed objects which create a region or polyline object when construct a new boundary set.
