AutoCAD Circle Command

Hello Friends,
In Previous Posts, We have seen Different Methods to draw a line. In Today Post We will see how to draw a circle in AutoCAD.

There are a total of 6 methods to draw a circle in AutoCAD.

1)Center, Radius
2)Center, Diameter
3)2Points
4)3Points
5)Tangent, Tangent, Radius
6)Tangent, Tangent, Tangent

Command: Circle (Enter)
Short-cut: C (Enter)
Menu: Draw > Circle
Tool icon / Ribbon :

1)Center, Radius

To Draw a Circle with Center & Radius, First, you have to specify Center point either by mouseclick point or by specific absolute (X, Y) point. Then you have to specify Positive Non-Zero value for Radius.

Steps:
Specify center point for circle or [ 3P /2P / Ttr (tan tan radius)]: Mouseclick point or X, Y (Enter)
Specify radius of circle or [Diameter]: 2 (Enter)

Note: Radius Value should be Positive and Nonzero.

2)Center, Diameter

To Draw a Circle with Center & Diameter, First, you have to specify Center point either by mouseclick point or by specific absolute (X, Y) point. Then you have to specify Positive Non-Zero value for Diameter.

Steps:
Specify center point for circle or [ 3P /2P / Ttr (tan tan radius)]: Mouseclick point or X, Y (Enter)
Specify radius of circle or [Diameter]: D (Enter)
Specify diameter of circle: 3.5 (Enter)

Note: Diameter Value should be Positive and Nonzero.

3)2points

We can draw a circle passing by specifying two points. Ultimately two points become the diameter of the circle.

Steps:
Specify center point for circle or [ 3P /2P / Ttr (tan tan radius)]: 2P (Enter)
Specify first end point of circle's diameter: Mouseclick point or X, Y (Enter)
Specify second end point of circle's diameter: Mouseclick point or X, Y (Enter)

4)3Points

We can draw a circle that can pass through specified 3points.

5)Tan Tan Radius

We can draw a circle between two tangents with a specific radius. first, we have to specify two tangents by mouseclick on objects like line, circle, arc then we have to specify radius value.

6)Tan Tan Tan

We can draw a circle between three tangents. We have to specify three tangents
by mouseclick on objects.

Note: tan tan tan method is not available on command prompt, so you have to use the command from Ribbon or Draw Menu > Circle > Tan Tan Tan.
