Divide & Measure : AutoCAD

Hello, Friends
Today We will learn about Divide & Measure Commands.

COMMAND: DIVIDE
SHORT-CUT: DIV
MENU : DRAW > POINT > DIVIDE

-Divide selected objects into an equal length of segments by point. After selecting objects, We have to specify the Number of Segments. We can specify a value between 2 to 32767. We can select line, Arc, Ellipse, Circle, polyline & Spline object to divide.


Block(b): We can place the block object at an equal interval of the object. We can specify whether to align it or not.

COMMAND: MEASURE
SHORT-CUT: ME
MENU : DRAW > POINT > MEASURE

Create points or blocks at measured intervals along the length or perimeter or selected object. Measure starts from the side of the selected object.

  Hello, Friends Today We will learn Multiline Text(MText) In AutoCAD Software. COMMAND : Mtext Short-cut : MT Menu : Draw > Text > Multiline Text By Mtext Command, We can write Paragraph Text or Multilines in AutoCAD.There are many advantages in Mtext like Formatting Tools, Paragraph, Symbols, Columns. Type "Mtext" Command, then Specify First and opposite corner on screen by Mouseclick. Write Text inside Mtext Window. Convert Singleline Text into Multiline Text using TXT2MTXT Command in AutoCAD.

Hello, Friends Today We learn TXT2MTXT Command in AutoCAD. We can convert one or more Single line Text objects into Multiline Text (Mtext) Object. COMMAND : TXT2MTXT MENU : EXPRESS > TEXT > CONVERT TEXT TO MTEXT Settings > Combine into a single mtext object Combine Selected single line text objects into single mtext objects. Text ordering - Sort top-down Specifies the order of the selected text by descending vertical position. Text ordering - Select order of text Specifies the order of the selected text by manual selection by Mouseclick. Word-wrap text  Combines all the lines of text into a single line, and then wraps any text that exceeds the width of the mtext object to the next line. Force uniform line spacing Applies consistent interline spacing and paragraph spacing when word wrap is turned on. Paragraph spacing is Half larger than interline spacing.
